She made it!!
(or she will within the next couple days, so check your tracking number and keep an eye on your mailbox)(and simply refrigerate her until you’re ready to tend to her).
And while we’ll get back to *exactly* what happened last week with your sourdough starters, I’m just glad to hear that Yosemite is making it safely to her new homes (no casualties just yet, lol).
(but all I’ll say for now before we get to the instructions is that I really get why my grandmother used to joke that the first born child ought to be disposable)(and this was in no way a reflection of her love for her first born son, as my uncle was the apple of her eye)(but rather that by her eighth child she really got the swing of things)
i.e. thank you for being here and for your patience, ensuring a successful dispatch of so many live little beings was honestly one of the most interesting (and humbling!) experiences of my life.
But remember how at the beginning of this year I set out to make life more real?
Well, mission achieved. Because all hiccups aside (and we really are going to get back to this), it was also incredibly fun for me to actually put together a little tangible gift for y’all (and one where I know the joy will grow overtime).
So thank you- because of you I get to do what I love most (big hug! teaching you guys really is dreamy).
OK. But before we get all mushy, in this envelope you’ll find a couple packages:
p.s. I’ve gotten a few emails wanting in– we are definitely going to do it again (likely ship in two weeks, we just have a storm here this week so stay tuned for deets)(and if you sign up just email and I’ll add you to the waiting list).
