what I’m saying: a chunky apple butter (flambéed for added smokiness and pizzazz) gets wrapped up in a buttery sourdough brioche– yielding nothing less than a supremely cozy cake 🧸
It’s perfect pairing? A warm vanilla custard sauce i.e. crème anglaise (think a little like eggnog but sans the nutmeg)(that said, even a lightly boozy eggnog would be ace too).
